Many have seen "The Matrix" where the choice is given between "the red pill" and the blue pill.
In one sense the scriptures provided on these pages has been akin to us taking "the red pill". Our only desire is to know the truth according to God’s Word. Our prayer will be that all who visit these pages will share that same desire.
As believers, my wife and I used to attend "churches" for years. As you navigate this site, you may note that we no longer are affiliated with any "churches" (as in so-called"organized religion"). The reason being is that we have found churches we’ve attended to be in severe error by following unscriptural "traditions of men". Some reasons are noted <<here>>.
However, believers are commanded to gather together, and we do fellowship with other believers:
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
The above Scripture tells us exactly how and why to gather, yet every church we’ve ever attended focuses merely on the first portion of verse 25 (aka "pew packing" in some churches), where the focus is on increasing attendance.
Scripture simply teaches the Christian's responsibility to study and live by God’s written Word, and we only seek fellowship with like-minded Christians.
2 Timothy 3:12-17
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
According to the above, the Scriptures make us "wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus" and that through Scripture alone "the man (and woman) of God may be [complete, thoroughly] furnished unto all good works".
After over twenty years of listening to people add to (and subtract from) God’s Word, we have prayerfully committed to only seek others who unashamedly seek God through His Holy Word.
If this sounds like you too, we’d love to hear from you via e-mail.
