SOME PERSONAL TESTIMONY
What’s readily visible:
God has healed me of drunkenness over twenty-two years ago, and by His grace I haven’t looked back. He also has delivered me from an empty life including fornication, and in turn He has blessed me with a beautiful wife of over twenty years, and He has blessed us both with a wonderful son.

11/12/2011 UPDATE:
My wife Sheila lost her life to cancer 11/2/11. While my grief is beyond words, I take some solace in knowing I honored all of her dying wishes by first being her full-time 24/7 nurse, by NOT allowing strangers to handle her care and finally by doing the absolute hardest thing of washing and dressing her body for burial. All done out of a desire to love, honor and protect my Sheila the best way I could under the circumstances.
Sheila was a woman who loved the scriptures, and who ultimately believed what they say. Though we at times would miss the mark in our marriage, it was 100% harmonious when we followed God's Word and instruction for us. For that I am most thankful. In the end Sheila confessed to God and also to me certain sins that needed to be addressed, and I reiterated certain sins of my own that I was sorry for against her over the years. I also thanked her daily for all she had done to help me as my wife of over twenty years. Please pray that God sees me through the pain of losing her.
In Memory of my Sheila

Christ said, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:15) He also said, "bring forth fruit in keeping with repentance" (Matt 3:8)
If I had continued in my drunkenness and fornication then it would very clear that I hadn’t repented of those sins.
Regarding what’s eternal (and ultimately what IS MOST important):
Romans 1:20 says: "For since the creation of the world His (that is, God’s) invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse."
In John 3:16-21 Christ says:
John 3:16-21
16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that
the world through Him might be saved.
18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is
condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God.
19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and
men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light,
lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly
seen, that they have been done in God."
Repentance and belief in the work of Christ on the cross on our behalf leads to
salvation. More on this later on another link, but I will say there is
nothing more important than our eternal salvation through Christ for those who
repent and believe.
Will you repent and believe, and where will you spend eternity....in hell, (originally created by God for the fallen angels), or with the Lord in His Kingdom?
