What If It's True? (There's nothing more important than our salvation)
You'll more than likely be hearing this question repeated several times as you surf through this site. The simple fact of the matter is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is either a lie or the truth.
Psalms 19:7 says: "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple."
When you get a chance, please look up the Ten Commandments (also known as "the law"). The law was given to man to prove that he simply cannot keep it.
"What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet." Romans 7:7
Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, or used God's name in vain? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you looked with lust? Will you be guilty on Judgment Day?
God’s Word says, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 2:10)
Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted....Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." Matthew 5:3-6
This site is really only for the "poor in spirit", those "that mourn" their sin and "hunger and thirst after [God’s] righteousness".
Jesus said:
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Jesus never twisted anyone’s arm to believe, and neither do we. According to His words we need not condemn anyone for not believing because Jesus said "He that believeth on [The Son of God] is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
We pray that those who visit this site would search the Scriptures themselves to see if what we are preaching is the truth.
"The Lord is... not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9
That’s really what the gospel is all about. Many unfortunately will not repent. For those who do not there is going to be the "second death" with weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth for all eternity.
Jesus said:
Matt 13:41-43
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
